Utterly blooming useless

So I started this blog almost a month ago and so far all I have managed to do is forget about it. I still haven’t got to grips with all the features of WP which I probably should spend some time doing.

I weighed myself on the 5th and I had put on a total of 6lbs over christmas. I have done nothing in relation to losing weight recently mainly because I have no motivation right now to do it. Past experiences have taught me that there’s no point in forcing myself but if I put any more weight on then it will become an issue with me. Maybe I need to sit and stuff my face till I get to another 6lbs on then that will motivate me.

For me right now a lot of my concentration is going towards finances and whilst things look great on paper why do they never pan out like that in real life?

I probably should go and make some lunch now before it gets too late and if I remember I may come back

Who I am!!

Just a brief introduction of who I am (or in some cases what)

I’m a 26 year old single mum to two children. Daniel who is 6 and Amy who is 3.

I currently don’t work but I have gained qualifications as a chef and also worked in waitressing, nurseries and nursing homes for the elderly.

That’s pretty much all there is about me at the moment…

1st of January

Not a new year’s resolution as I don’t do them but I have decided that on the 5th when life gets back to normal, kids get back to school, banks and shops remain open 24 hours I am going to finally lose all the excess weight that has piled on over the past year or so.

So, why the 5th? Why not today? Simply put because between now and the 5th I have to fit in my last Indian, last McDonalds and my last load of delicious calories before committing to a life of low fat, low sugar and low enjoyment value!

My weight has yo-yo’ed for years. I have been everything from a size 10 to a size 20 with weight ranges of 11 stone up to 16.5 stone. I don’t have any idea what weight I currently am and won’t find out until Tuesday.

The Wii Fit board shall become my friend along with the slow cooker and steamer.

I may even cheat and ask my GP for help where the PCOS is involved and see if there’s anything they can do with regards to that.

So a blog to lose weight. Sounds rather un-normal but my motivation will be making sure the number is less each time I update.
